Dolly Garg

Dolly Garg has been working as a K-1 teacher for Broward County Public schools since 2007. She graduated with honors from Florida International University with degree in Early Childhood education.

She is also a recipient of innovative teacher grant for the years of 2024 and 2025. Opening a Nature Camp is truly a nature’s calling for her.

Growing up in a small Indian town, nature was the only playground that was available to her and other kids around her. Jumping in rain puddles or making mud pies were part of daily plays. Playing hide and seek and running around to collect sticks and rocks was a common practice.

Taking her daughter out to the beaches and nature hikes are one of her favorite things to do. She truly believes that nature is the best classroom.

At Golden Palms Nature Camp we are striving for immersive, hands on approach to learning that fosters curiosity, creativity and deep connection to the world around us.

Beautiful parks of our sunshine state, encourage children to explore, discover and thrive in the natural setting. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can develop a love for learning, independence and environmental stewardship.

Our Philosophy

We follow a flexible child led, play and leaning activities where students engage in an outdoor exploration, creative problem solving and cooperative learning.
